Well, the best way to preserve Harvard would have been to get rid of legacy admissions, aka DEI for White people. At this point, I think they all need some major reckoning.

Harvard sold out to the Chinese Communist Party. Biden regime was surrendering when Trump stepped in. Now Trump is selling out to the tech bros and Saudis. The issue is that the federal government is too big and out of control, and the sooner we reduce it back to the primary functions the better chance we have of holding together as a nation.

The size of the federal government hasn't increased along w the US population, AT ALL. The problem aren't the employers but the top 1% millionaires and billionaires RIGGING THE SYSTEM so they can continue to siphon resources up to them ONLY, leaving Americans working harder for a lot less $$$. That same 1% has rigged HEALTHCARE and cost of medication and turned it into a FOR PROFIT MODEL. Do u see now? You're buying the brainwashing they spew without really researching solid FACTS. In fact, the one place where the US MUST REDUCE WASTE AND FRAUD is in Defense! That DoD has ALWAYS been BLOATED which is why the US spent so many decades causing war, war and more wars. Wars, mind you, that WE LOST. That's a BAD HABIT that's bloated our national debt. And taking what little Americans have as a safety net is NOT the way to correct this. Trump must stop this tariff bullshit. Manufacturing is NOT coming back. And what comes back will be done by AI ROBOTS, not employees. AI is the "texh bros" WET DREAM and they don't care if it destroys our social network. We need to TAX THE RICH and we need to REDUCE the budget for the Denfense Dept. Trump's closing our foreign bases, ge's forcing EU to cover their own defense, so why does he meed more $$$? A lot of what DoD is building is OBSOLETE so WTH did Trump order umpteen more obsolete equipment? Stop blaming those who are doing an honest days work and start blami g AND HOLDING ACCOUNTABLE the CON ARTISTS, the CRIMINALS, u know, the ones Trump's pardoning left and right. This is a GRIFT and we, the American People, are being conned.

Hello, Carole (if I may)! I'm the lady who turned to you today at the café counter, where we were both standing, and asked you if you were you! I hope you have a good visit here, despite...well, where you are, as you mention in your post. And thank you for this piece (I wonder if you wrote it at the café?!), reminding us of the deeper motives and aims behind Musk's political theater and Thiel's stealthy chess moves. Wishing you a productive (and safe) trip!

Whew. Thanks for this, Carole. I honestly don't think folks 'round me (in a blue county in NW Illinois) are taking all this sh**f**kery anywhere near seriously enough. We're nearly cooked. I cannot recommend highly enough, speaking from a different hilltop, English writer Paul Kingsnorth on this subject. His address to the Aldous Huxley Society of Talinn, Estonia a couple years back is filled with warnings, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yy_iTsCleGA .

BTW, I'm using that priceless image of a smiling Amazon chief with MBS on my poster for the June 14 protest. I mean, honestly, when will we all just stop shrugging as though our only worry is the price of a carton of eggs? I burned my Prime membership card eight years ago, and NEVER participate in his extortion scheme any more, either.

When my wife and I signed up for the Homes for Ukraine scheme, buried deep in the small print was consent to data we provided (a huge amount of data about ourselves and our Ukrainian guest) being handled by Palantir. Never saw that Palantir role picked up in the press. Wondered then how deep Palantir is into the Home Office, visa system, Border Control etc. Still wondering.

I didn’t know that, Harry. Do you still have the form?

I didn't save the page I saw in 2022 when we applied to host. It looks like the scheme is still open but all the forms and info pages have been updated Jan 2025. Palantir are mentioned on this page, which I reached via a Privacy link on the foot of the 'express interest' form. From memory it looks similar to the statement I read in 2022 but can't provide evidence of that.

Yep. I forget the details but from memory the scheme was announced a week or two after the invasion and forms opened about a week later. We'd been quick off the mark so our guest arrived late March 2022 (we think she was the first to arrive in Scotland) so that's scheme established, visa processed, travel completed within c. 1 month.

So either a) the Home Office & Palantir moved bloody fast to do a deal and set up the data processing specifically for Ukraine ..

Or b) there was an existing data management contract already in place for visa applications and application sponsorship, and all they needed was to create a simple Ukraine-specific entry page for the existing database.

My guess would be b) .. but in either case the award of a contract to Palantir should surely be a matter of public record.

We had to provide passport details (ours as well as our guest's) and then information about household size etc. roughly equivalent to what you'd provide for the census. That's a hell of a lot of categories to cross-reference with NHS data etc.

It's interesting that the first mention of Foundry is specifically in a section about data sharing with local authorities, and doesn't mention that Foundry is a Palantir platform.

Just sent a request to DPO@communities.gov.uk to see what data they still have or data on Foundry of ours from being in the H4Ukraine scheme. Be interesting to see what comes back.

be interesting to see how that goes and if any internal markers show up from HO or other govt depts. H4U processing was so full of suspicious anomalies and I've wondered if the interdepartmental checks were part of that.

Most people haven't yet realised that we no longer have a national health service in England. There are 42 local so-called integrated care systems based exactly on American accountable care. Key to this scam is our health data. And whose grubby talons are on it? https://goodlawproject.org/update/nhs-signed-palantir-contract-then-carried-on-negotiating/

Thiel's most consequential enterprise is the Founders Fund. That is the One Ring to rule them all (But the smaller ones, like Thiel Capital or Valar play a role too).

His inner circle calls it the Precious. Recently, a director said, Palantir is its first great chapter, Anduril the second, and the new General Matter the third (likely followed by a semiconductor startup). But it also has many other smaller children. They just don't have that comprehensive nature that allows Palantir and Anduril to intergrate other companies into their defense-oriented frame. Or they have not matured to that point. Like Valinor, which was created in 2024 by two female Palantir managers. He concentrates his military resources and personnel in the Founders Fund. Not only through AI and technology, but also his personal relationship, his stance with the old Republican elites and the military, and his organizational skills - which I must say, in which he is a genius (he likely cannot code).

Also Altman is always one of Thiel's trusted lieutenants. Otherwise he would not have been posted on the board of Bridgetown together with the spouse, Matt Danzeisen. China is Thiel's biggest demon. Altman once said that he would share the same bunker with his mentor too when the world ended.

He and Danzeisen were trusted with watching over China like 10 years ago. See this

https://blog.samaltman.com/china

Thiel's other candidate for marriage was a China expert too, Francesco Lugli.

And yes, he does want to rule over us all. But this time the Dark Lord stands with the West, so ironically. China and Russia do not like him at all. Those two regimes need to be defeated first.

I can only say that I hope things work out well for all, and the Dark Lord does not have a successor.

Thank you, Carole. So much to unpack, but these parts really stood out:

"Thiel’s most consequential enterprise may be Palantir, the... military contractor (that also, unbelievably, is used at the heart of Britain’s NHS service)... is now being used to process and combine these datasets... 314 categories of data that Musk’s DOGE was seeking to merge... is the next stage in consolidation and control. To understand how this database could be used, look no further than how it is already being used to monitor and track immigrants."

I've seen video clips from San Diego and they're somehow both harrowing and uplifting at the same time - uplifting in how local residents stood up to the "boots cuffs and booms". Lived in San Diego for a short period myself, which amplifies everything in a personal way.

It’s certainly concerning that the Government has continued with Palantir. That surprised me and particularly since we have been aware of Thiel’s relationship with Trump and beyond. The jigsaw you have been piecing together for some time is becoming clearer and it seems we could be storing up major problems in the future. I constantly wonder why, if you are raising concerns and many who follow have concerns, is this Government continuing with these relationships. It would appear to me that it is putting the country at risk. The Broligarchs are taking over and supported by the likes of Trump and MBS. Of course big money talks!!

Thank you Carole for writing about Thiel but there is a lot more. It is however concerning that he went after Gawker via an alternative route. So be careful!! He is on the steering committee of the Bilderberg group which could do with investigating in itself.

New Zealand should also be stripping him of citizenship as he appears to have got that by corrupt means. So much to dig into……..

I just reviewed the new book by Alex Karp, who is a technofascist nightmare. The glowing blurb on the cover by Walter Isaacson is just about what you'd expect. Isaacson will do anything to debase himself for his Silicon Valley overlords. It's so much easier and more profitable than actually being a journalist.

Well, we can start with taking each of them down with world-wide boycotts. I deleted my Amazon account and everything associated with it (Audible, Prime Video) and all it has done is save me a shit ton of money. I feel empowered. Next will be Uber since I was unaware Ms Darla is now part of our problem. If we can “Tesla Takedown” Musk, we can take down these other oligarchs. What are you waiting for? LFG! 💪🏽🇺🇸
