Your dedication to holding truth to power, and your perseverance over the last ten years with the Brexit/Trump digital attack by Russia is an inspiration to all journalists. Whatever the outcome of the court, history will still preserve your wonderful legacy. Well done Carole, you’re Britains finest

Here from the US I’m envious that the UK has even a vestige of holding hearings for the purpose of assigning accountability. And this is because of your courage. There aren’t enough good words. I am committed to meeting this moment too.

Carole, you opened my eyes when you wrote in the Guardian about talking to acquaintances in South Wales about the Brexit campaign, and the different memes they were seeing on Facebook to those you had seen. It was a most explicit revelation of the power (and corruption) of the micro-targetting facilitated by Facebook algorithms. I have followed you work with interest and respect since then. Keeping everything crossed for the court decision tomorrow.

There is no doubt that the Court realises how important their decision is going to be. However, we should also not forget that the ECHR is currently under a sustained attack from right-wing populists from both outside and inside the EU. Like all of us, I sincerely hope that the Court will nevertheless put its duty to the people before its own survival instincts . But if the European judges follow their political antenna, making the struggle of good people all the more difficult, please remember why.

Good luck ❤️ We all know the truth , whatever the verdict. But a positive verdict will highlight and legitimise the truth.

Thank you so much for your hard work. I remember the parliamentary group reporting on TV and was so shocked that the Government at the time didn’t take the matter forward. However with what we are aware of now it is clear that it may have exposed some individuals. It was a shock having read the Mueller report to hear Bill Barr downplaying its contents. Unfortunately nothing really came of that and of course Nigel Farage got a mention in it! Trump most definitely was not vindicated. I hope this is successful because at the very least we deserve to know after all the obfuscation and the pain of Brexit. Thank you again and fingers crossed!!!

You are a wonderful. So glad there’s a chance to support your work, and so grateful that you do it.

A somewhat related question: what became of the unexplained wealth inquiries? There was something started around Trump. But I have heard nothing about it since.

You should know that the winner takes it all. Trump and Johnson won the Presidency and Brexit for a mere petty cash payment by Putin. The FBI were scathing in their response to Trump’s acceptance that Putin had played no part in the 2016 election, despite all the evidence they had. Similarly with Brexit which, for a mere £7 million, Putin separated us from the EU. If our security services had proof of this, do you think for a moment that Johnson would have accepted it? I don’t. These people know it is being the winner which matters. Blame Gordon Brown for crashing the economy in 2007/8 and win the 2010 election. So easy. Spend a fortune on strategic advertising Brexit and who is to challenge where you got the money when you won?
